Senior business analyst

We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst (internally referred to as a Designer) to act as the primary technical bridge between business stakeholders and development teams. In this role, you will not only gather requirements but also design high-level technical solutions and roadmaps for a large-scale Customer Master Data Management (MDM) project. You will define the "how" of the solution, ensuring business needs are translated into actionable technical specifications for Scrum teams.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Translation: Gather business needs and transform them into detailed technical requirements for development teams.
• High-Level Solution Design: Create "High-Level Diagrams" and technical designs that identify necessary systems, APIs, or batch processes (e.g., NIF validation, debt checking).
• Roadmap & Priority Definition: Establish technical roadmaps and define priorities for the development lifecycle.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Liaise with Scrum Masters and Tech Leads to organize development based on defined requirements.
• Specialized Data Design (Optional/Secondary): Design data pipelines and integration strategies, focusing on ETL/ELT processes and data injection models.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present solutions and technical paths clearly and assertively to international stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience: Senior professional, ideally with 10–15 years in the IT sector.
• Master Data Management (MDM): Extensive experience required, particularly with sensitive insurance data.
• Technical Background: Ideally a former developer, now in technical project management, architecture, or functional analysis.
• Technical Ecosystem Knowledge:
• Application: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, AWS (Lambdas)
• Data: Snowflake, Python, DBT, Airflow, Data Lakes
• Assertive Communication: Ability to be direct and "straight to the point," aligning with a UK-based client culture.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and interaction data.
• Background in Solution Architecture or Solution Design.
