• Platform Customization and Maintenance: Develop, customize, and maintain our extensive ServiceNow platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of a large user base.
• Development of Innovative Solutions: Use your deep ServiceNow expertise to develop innovative solutions that push the boundaries of enterprise service management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product owners and other team members to understand detailed requirements and translate them into high-quality software solutions.
• Complex Problem Solving: Utilize exceptional debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills to navigate and resolve complex technical challenges within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Code Development and Review: Participate in efficient, object-oriented coding, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure maintainability and efficiency.

This is a Rockstar Developer role, our classic interpretation of a Software Developer.

Regardless of what you are working on, here are the technical skills you likely possess:

• At least 1 year of experience using the ServiceNow platform, including ServiceNow modules and APIs, development practices, and implementation of Custom Apps.
• Exceptional debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Expertise in efficient, object-oriented, and modular software coding.
• Experience with object-oriented Java and JavaScript, and working with JavaScript libraries such as Angular/React JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Prototype.
• Good knowledge of AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and associated frameworks.

• Embrace agile practices, especially Scrum, leveraging its events to foster a high-performing team.
• Be multifunctional, developing new skills to enable a team that spans the entire product life cycle.
• Apply standard engineering practices using tools like version control, IDEs, and dashboards for organized development.
• Adopt best DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to build, test, and deploy reliable software.
• Operate software post-implementation, including outside of regular working hours, if necessary (overtime applicable).
• Occasionally travel abroad to support all phases of product development.
• Possess excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Communication skills in German will be an asset.
