Job Title: Technical Lead (Full-Stack)

Salary: Competitive + Bonus!

Location: Hybrid working, home & BCA Coimbra (monthly visits)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours

Job Status: Permanent

The Constellation Technology Team provides a group-wide set of Technology Products and Services across the Constellation Automotive Group.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Guiding a team of talented engineers with a mix of encouragement, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Ensuring continuous delivery of value to users through efficient development practices and well-coordinated releases.
  • Collaborating closely with Design and Product teams to implement visually compelling and intuitive interfaces.
  • Aligning the team's work with the product vision and strategic goals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Handling line management duties, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Driving improvements of engineering practices within the team to enhance efficiency, code quality, and user experience.
  • Staying abreast of the latest development trends and best practices and providing technical leadership to the team.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Has a proven track record in web/mobile application development, cloud solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS, Serverless, TypeScript, Node.js, React and React Native.
  • Demonstrable DevOps mindset having taken accountability for the entire lifecycle of a product.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with various forms of automated testing, coupled with a strong understanding of TDD/BDD concepts.
  • Experience in people management, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
  • Capable problem-solver with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
