Your tasks

Your contribution to something big:

As a Hardware & Software Test System Engineer, you will join a team responsible for industrializing complex testing systems for radar, instrumentation, chassis control, and ADAS technologies. Your work will directly support the development of safer and more reliable automotive systems used worldwide.

  • Support the continuous improvement of existing testing machinery and equipment.
  • Develop concepts and designs for new test systems.
  • Write requirement specifications and support the sourcing process.
  • Follow up with suppliers during the construction, assembly, and validation of new machinery.
  • Train operators and maintenance teams on the operation, calibration, and maintenance of complex equipment — both locally and in Bosch plants worldwide.
  • Ensure proper documentation, organization, and knowledge transfer across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to innovative solutions and overcoming technical challenges.

Your profile

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Preferably 3 years of experience in hardware and software development or similar roles.
  • Experience with infotainment or ADAS test systems is a plus.

Know‑how

  • Deep knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, I2C, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of both hardware and software in the context of test systems.
  • Ability to write technical specifications and support machinery development processes.
  • Familiarity with calibration, operation, and maintenance of test equipment is an advantage.

Languages

  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.

  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable documenting complex systems.
  • Capable of working in a fast‑paced technological environment.
