Data Engineer – Cloud Platform (f/m/div.)

Our Cloud Data Platform empowers Mobility Aftermarket teams to run data analysis and reporting which are relevant to drive business decisions.

We are searching for a Data Engineer to support our team. This isn't just about managing data; it's about shaping the analytical backbone of a dynamic business. If you're passionate about optimizing performance and continuously pushing the boundaries of what's possible with data in the cloud, then this role is for you.

Your contribution to something big:

- Architect and Innovate Data Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and resilient data pipelines on our cloud-based Data Platform;

- Master Data Modeling: Develop and refine stable data models, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and optimal structures for complex analytics, reporting, and AI-driven use cases;

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, acting as a trusted technical expert guiding other departments to integrate their data and use cases on the data platform;

- Best Practices: Share best practices and set high standards to enable our partners to maximize their data's potential.

What distinguishes you:

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable field providing a strong theoretical and practical base.

Experience: Hands-on experience in data engineering, within cloud-based data platforms or analytics environments.

Know-how:

- Experience with the following tools and technologies: Python, Spark, SQL, Databricks, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Purview;

- Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture;

- Familiarity with DevOps principles in agile development environments;

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written).

Working Style and Methods: Structured, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, agile environment.

Personality: Collaborative, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies and sharing knowledge within an international team.
