Full-time
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help develop and maintain the infrastructure built on GitOps principles. The focus is on automating CI/CD processes, managing Kubernetes clusters, and implementing delivery workflows based on ArgoCD and FluxCD. You will work closely with the development and operations teams, ensuring the reliability, stability, and predictability of deliverables, and optimizing infrastructure for high-load environments serving telecommunications customers across Europe.
What You Will Do
- Design and maintain GitOps delivery workflows using ArgoCD and FluxCD
- Deploy and configure Kubernetes clusters through k3s, k8s, and managed cloud (EKS, GKE, AKS)
- Develop and maintain Helm charts and Kustomize configurations
- Apply IaC practices with Terraform and Ansible
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Gitea CI
- Implement and evolve the monitoring and logging stack: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager
- Advise delivery teams on implementing solutions in customer on-premises environments
Mandatory
- More than 3 years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes: RBAC, Ingress, networking, storage
- ArgoCD or FluxCD in production
- Helm and Kustomize
- Docker, Linux, core CI/CD tools
- Programming in Bash, Python, or Go
- Monitoring setup with Prometheus + Grafana
Good to Have
- Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure
- Terraform, Ansible, Vault
- Logging: PLG / Loki, ELK, OpenTelemetry
- CI/CD security: image verification, secret management
First Six Months
Month 1 — Integration and Orientation
Familiarize yourself with our infrastructure environment: existing Kubernetes clusters, ArgoCD/FluxCD pipelines, Helm charts, and monitoring stack. Review documentation, shadow team members, and gain access to all relevant environments. By the end of the first month, you should have a solid understanding of our components, architectural decisions, and implementation flows.
Months 2–3 — Contribute Independently
Start tackling smaller tasks: submit merge requests for updates to Helm charts, CI/CD pipeline adjustments, and configuration changes. Participate in code reviews, respond to routine alerts, and begin contributing to infrastructure improvements with team guidance. By month three, you should feel comfortable working within our GitOps workflow and delivering end-to-end changes with minimal supervision.
Months 4–6 — Take on Responsibility
Face more complex tasks: design new pipeline stages, troubleshoot production incidents, optimize cluster configurations, and propose infrastructure improvements. Collaborate directly with development teams on deployment strategies for new services. By the end of the sixth month, you are expected to manage complex infrastructure challenges independently and contribute to architectural decisions.
