Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Network Security Operations Engineer (MS NOC). This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting daily network security operations, including configuration, troubleshooting, and policy execution. The position works closely with the SOC to coordinate threat handling and ensure the stability, security, and reliability of security services within the MS-NOC Services framework.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network security operations or engineering
  • Operational maturity level 3 or higher, with ability to work autonomously on complex security tasks
  • Proven experience collaborating with SOC teams on correlated incidents and secure operational execution
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned operational processes and security governance
  • Ability to operate in business-critical environments with high standards of auditability and control

Responsibilities

  • Execute, maintain, and troubleshoot network security configurations and incidents
  • Collaborate closely with SOC teams for event correlation, investigation, and incident response workflows
  • Operate and enforce security policies across perimeter security domains
  • Support security controls during events such as anomalies, threats, or service degradation
  • Ensure all changes are documented, auditable, and executed through formal change management processes
  • Document technical solutions, procedures, and lessons learned
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations, including process optimization and automation where applicable

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

  • Hands-on experience with firewall and perimeter security operations, including policy enforcement and lifecycle management
  • Strong exposure to NGFW, IPS, IDS, segmentation, and SIEM integration
  • Operational experience with common security platforms, including Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Netskope, Tufin, ServiceNow, Splunk, or Elasticsearch

Certifications (Expected)

  • CCNA
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Fortinet NSE 4 – FortiOS
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in large-scale or multi-region security operations
  • Basic scripting or automation skills for security operations
  • Exposure to cloud security and SASE models
  • Experience working in regulated or tender-based service environments
