What you will do

• Act as the local technical coordination layer between Portugal and international teams.
• Lead release governance, quality standards and technical risk management across multi-environment setups (TST, GTU, UAT, PRD).
• Translate business requirements into clear, executable technical designs.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Business and IT, ensuring alignment throughout delivery.
• Guide development teams on architecture, security and DevOps best practices.
• Support major incidents through technical guidance, escalation and coordination.
• Maintain documentation, standards and delivery governance.
• Design and validate end-to-end solutions for complex web and digital platforms within .NET stacks with React.
• Define integration patterns (APIs, asynchronous flows, frontend-backend interaction) considering performance and maintainability.
• Contribute to CI/CD and release strategy, including quality gates, approvals and risk mitigation.
• Apply authentication, IAM and secure-by-design principles across system and integration layers.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in solution design for web and digital platforms.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs and integration patterns.
• Expertise in C#/.NET technologies.
• Experience with React.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (SQL Server/Oracle) and NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Experience working in regulated environments is a plus.
• Professional English (C1 level required, spoken and written).
• French or Dutch is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills within distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
• Structured approach to incident and problem management.
• Ability to prioritize workload efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Legal: Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space Nationality to legally work in Portugal.
