Wipro Shuts Down Hungarian Subsidiary as Part of Structural Streamlining

Wipro has closed down its Hungarian subsidiary, Wipro Holdings Hungary Korlatolt Felelossegu Tarsasag, as part of its plan to make its business structure more efficient. The official end of the company was approved by the Hungarian Court of Registration on July 25, 2025, as stated in a recent filing.

This decision is part of a broader strategy to simplify and bring together Wipro's global activities.

The Hungarian branch did not generate any income during the last financial year and only brought in ₹2. 9 crore from other sources. Its total value was ₹18. 5 crore, which makes up just 0. 02% of the company's overall value.

The closure shows Wipro is focused on making its operations more efficient and matching its business strategy.

It is adjusting its presence in different countries to better fit its current goals.
