Dutch tech company Voys has officially entered the Portuguese market, offering a cloud-based VoIP communication platform tailored for companies and freelancers. The service runs on a simple pricing model — fixed monthly fees per user with local calls included — and no need for physical infrastructure or binding contracts.
At the heart of the offering is Freedom, Voys’ proprietary platform that enables users to configure and manage call flows remotely. It supports landlines, smartphones, and laptops, and integrates AI-powered features like call transcription and smart voicemail.
“We give users complete control over when and how they’re available,” says Ben Hoetmer, co-founder of Voys. “That way, they can focus on the customer relationship instead of chasing missed calls.”
Since its soft launch in March, the company has seen promising demand in Portugal. Voys is currently targeting online sign-ups, with plans to possibly expand to a local team or partner based on future growth. Already present in Germany, Belgium, Austria, and South Africa, Voys brings its international know-how to the Portuguese digital communications landscape.
