Tekever, a fast-growing drone company from Portugal, has opened a new center in Vale Gracioso, Leiria. The company, which started in 2001, now has 50 researchers and engineers working at this new location, focusing on creating and testing important parts for drones.
The company is planning to grow its team by doubling the number of people working there soon, as more experts move to the area.
This expansion helps Tekever grow stronger and also shows that Leiria is becoming a key place for making flying vehicles in Europe, with another big company also looking to set up there.
