In a significant exit, American cybersecurity leader Snyk has acquired the Porto-based technology company Probely, integrating its 40-person team into Snyk’s workforce. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
Peter McKay, CEO of Snyk, expressed that the acquisition strengthens Snyk’s platform, enhancing its ability to accelerate the adoption of AI in cybersecurity while maintaining a focus on security. He added, “Together, we aim to advance the industry with our shared developer-first vision.”
Probely’s CEO and co-founder, Nuno Loureiro, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the synergy between the two companies' goals of empowering developers to build securely. He shared the team's enthusiasm about joining Snyk’s growing global presence and increasing their impact for customers.
This acquisition marks Snyk’s latest move following other notable acquisitions, including DeepCode, Reviewpad, Enso Security, and Helios.
