SheerMe and Bloq.it Among Europe’s Fastest-Growing Startups

SheerMe and Bloq.it are among the fastest-growing startups in Europe, according to the latest Sifted 250 list, which ranks Europe's top 250 startups by how quickly they're growing in revenue. Both companies are from Portugal, which is showing strong growth in the startup scene, joining the UK, Germany, and France as the main countries represented.

SheerMe is a platform where people can book and pay for beauty and wellness services.

It's ranked 38th overall and has grown by 330.95% in Portugal, Spain, and Brazil, making it one of the fastest-growing companies in Southern Europe. Bloq.it is a logistics company that recently raised €28 million in May to expand into the UK and Belgium. It's ranked 75th with a 240.04% growth rate.

Finn, based in Munich, is the top-growing startup on the list.

It's a car subscription service and has a growth rate of 1,078% annually. Yazen from Sweden and Tl;dv from Germany follow in second and third place. Together, the 250 companies made over €9.3 billion in revenue in three years and employ almost 25,000 people across Europe. Fintech companies are leading the way, and startups focused on AI, insurance, and wealth management are also gaining popularity.

Portugal's success shows that the country is building a strong and growing startup environment with ambitions to compete on an international level.
