Portuguese Fintech Rauva to Hire 500 by 2026 Amid Rapid Growth

Portuguese fintech company Rauva plans to hire 500 new employees across Europe by the end of 2026 as it grows quickly. The company provides a financial management tool for small and medium businesses and wants to double its teams in operations, products, and support.

The new jobs will cover areas like engineering, design, data, customer experience, operations, financial services, and growth.

Rauva was started in 2022 and currently has about 100 employees.

It is buying Banco Empresas Montepio (BEM) for €35 million, and the deal is waiting for approval from regulators. This purchase will help Rauva improve its financial services.

CEO and co-founder Jon Fath says, “We’re building Europe’s largest platform for small and medium businesses.

” He adds that Portugal has everything a global tech company needs, like skilled workers, access to markets, and a supportive environment for innovation.

Rauva is also offering a hybrid work setup, with three days in the office and two days working from home, based out of its Lisbon headquarters.

More information about job openings can be found on Rauva’s LinkedIn page.
