The 9th edition of the Porto Tech Hub Conference, an initiative that brings together the best of the Northern region’s technological ecosystem, will be held at Alfândega do Porto on November 26 and already has several speakers confirmed, such as Alina Yurenko from Oracle, Gavin King from Red Hat, Sander Mak from Picnic Technologies, Sheen Brisals from AWS Serverless Hero, Simon Brown from Structurizr and Stephen Chin from Neo4j.
Organized by Porto Tech Hub, an association whose mission is to boost Porto as a global technological center of excellence, the annual conference aims to bring together dozens of renowned companies and more than a thousand technology experts for a day of sharing knowledge about the latest trends in the technological ecosystem.
The initiative will also feature four workshops that will allow participants to apply their knowledge in a practical and interactive way, around 30 stands and more than 25 talks on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud & Infrastructure, Data Science, Programming, Modern Web, Security, Blockchain, among others.
Among the confirmed speakers are Alexander Günsche from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Sander Hoogendoorn from iBOOD, Kim van Wilgen from Schuberg Philis, Nicolas Fränkel from Apache APISIX, Luciano Mammino from fourTheorem and Ricardo Sueiras from AWS.
Since its beginning in 2015, the Porto Tech Hub Conference has attracted more than 5,000 participants and more than 80 speakers. The initiative has played host to companies such as Google, Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Spotify, Microsoft and Netflix, establishing itself as an essential annual meeting for professionals and organizations in the technology sector.
