Operation Nexus involved a €4. 5 million scam by a Porto-based IT company called DecUnify. They hired people connected to government organizations and used other companies to fake competition in bidding for contracts. This helped them win deals for network equipment and software at universities and schools.

DecUnify teamed up with Logicalis, Data Fax, ATM, and Integrator to create a cartel. After an investigation, the company's boss was put in jail.
