We are excited to share that Modaxo has acquired SISCOG, a company based in Portugal that specializes in AI-driven planning and scheduling tools for the rail sector.
SISCOG was started in 1986 by Professors João Pavão Martins and Ernesto Morgado.
Over the past almost 40 years, they have helped metro and rail companies improve how they schedule resources — including train timetables, vehicles, and staff.
This is Modaxo's first investment in the Iberian Peninsula, and we look forward to supporting SISCOG's ongoing innovation led by CEO Ferdinand Lucke.
We also aim to connect their knowledge with our global group of companies that work on technology for moving people.
