E-commerce is transforming logistics, and Bloq.it is at the center of that shift. João Lopes, co-founder of the smart locker startup, shared the company’s vision during a visit to the League of Innovators. Instead of waiting for home deliveries, Bloq.it offers a simpler solution: picking up packages from smart lockers—anytime, anywhere.
Founded in 2019, Bloq.it has been doubling its revenue annually and now employs nearly 300 people. On the Expresso podcast, Lopes spoke about how replacing the traditional postman with a digital-first delivery experience is redefining logistics across Europe and beyond.
During his talk, Lopes also described the company’s work culture and hiring approach. Bloq.it is looking for driven, ambitious professionals who believe in the power of scalable technology. “There’s no reason Bloq.it can’t be Portugal’s largest company,” he said. “We’re just getting started.”
