Intel to Outsource Almost All Non-Core Functions Amid Deep Restructuring

Intel is said to be planning to outsource almost every function that isn’t directly related to its main business. This includes areas like marketing, human resources, IT, finance, and other support roles, according to information shared by a high-level insider within the company.

This big change happens after Intel already announced plans to lay off 20,000 workers.

The company is moving quickly to simplify its operations and focus more on its core strengths in engineering and manufacturing.

Even though a few roles might stay in-house, the plan covers “almost all” non-core positions.

This shows Intel’s effort to cut costs, work more efficiently, and stay competitive in the fast-changing world of semiconductors.
