Growset, a newly launched venture builder and equity manager, is setting ambitious goals to accelerate the growth of tech companies in Portugal and the international market. Led by João Prior (ex-Deloitte), Frederico Mangas (founder of Indigo), and Nelson Rodrigues (founder of Mediaweb), the company plans to invest €10 million over the next two years.
Focusing on professional tech services, particularly in low-code and AI, Growset operates under a collaborative model. It acquires partial stakes in businesses, ensuring alignment with founders while contributing capital, expertise, and strategic guidance.
"Our aim is not just financial investment. We bring decades of entrepreneurial experience, acting as advisors and catalysts for growth," explains João Prior, Growset’s CEO.
Growset starts strong with a portfolio of seven companies, generating €10 million annually, 75% from international markets. By integrating skills like software development, UX, and AI, the firm aims to strengthen its portfolio and support scalable, flexible tech solutions.
This initiative also includes incubating new ideas through its Labs, positioning Growset as both an accelerator and a driver of innovation in the tech ecosystem.
