Galp’s ALLO Headquarters: A Workspace Built for Collaboration, Well-Being, and Sustainability

In January 2024, Galp opened its new headquarters, ALLO, in Alcântara, Lisbon—its biggest workplace investment so far.

The building was made with flexibility, modern technology, wellness, and sustainability in mind. It supports teamwork, inclusion, and being able to adapt quickly, which fits with Galp’s plan to attract and keep good talent.

The office has different kinds of workspaces, phone booths, both group and individual desks, meeting rooms of all sizes, a big auditorium, and areas that can be used for multiple purposes.

There are also special areas for wellness, like rooms for mindfulness, a gym, and a medical center. Sustainability is a key part of the design, with green areas, recycling programs, and over 140 electric vehicle charging stations. The space is also designed to be inclusive, with comfortable and supportive furniture for everyone.

The office allows a mix of working from home and in the office, with a system called hot-desking where people can use different workstations.

There’s also the Galp@Work app that lets employees book workspaces, meeting rooms, lockers, and even parking spots. The technology helps people work together easily, have meetings online, and access information securely from anywhere. Galp also offers training and strong security measures to help and protect its workers.

ALLO encourages a culture where people feel connected, learn constantly, and share ideas.

It reflects Galp’s values of trust, sustainability, and innovation, helping employees do their best and attract new people. To make sure the workplace is good for everyone, Galp regularly checks on employee well-being through surveys and other measures, like how much people participate in wellness programs.
