Consort Portugal, the local arm of French tech group Consort, continues to grow its presence in the country. Specializing in outsourcing and nearshoring, the company set up shop in Porto in 2021 with a clear goal: to support the offshoring needs of European clients from a strategic base in Portugal.
Since then, the company has steadily scaled its operations. According to LinkedIn data, Consort Portugal already employs around 40 professionals, with more hiring expected as demand for cost-efficient, high-quality tech talent across Europe rises. The group’s investment reflects Portugal’s increasing appeal as a nearshore hub, thanks to its skilled workforce, competitive costs, and strong connectivity to key EU markets.
