The Fraunhofer Portugal Challenge 2025 is now accepting applications, inviting master’s students and researchers from Portuguese universities to present exciting, technology-based ideas.
Run by Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS, the competition celebrates innovations that can really change how things work — like smart AI, user-centered design, and systems that connect digital and physical worlds.
There are two categories: the Master Thesis Award, for ideas rooted in academic research, and the Student Award, for any impressive tech concept.
Winners can get up to €3,000, and the Student Award winner also gets help from experts at Fraunhofer.
If you’re developing a solution that could shape the future and want to take your idea further, this is your chance.
You can apply until July 31.
