Fired Bosch Manager Now Leads Nordic Data Center Giant in Portugal

Carlos Ribas, who led Bosch’s operations in Portugal for nearly a decade before being dismissed over alleged misconduct with European funds, has quickly transitioned to a new leadership role. Since March 1st, he has been the CEO of CTS Portugal, the local branch of the largest data center design and construction company in the Nordic region.

At CTS Portugal, Ribas already oversees a workforce of over 500 employees and is spearheading plans to expand further. The company is set to open a new factory in Viana do Castelo, which is expected to generate an additional 500 jobs. Despite his controversial exit from Bosch, Ribas' appointment signals confidence from CTS Group in his leadership and experience in managing large-scale industrial and technological operations.
