Dutch Engineering Firm ACE Sets Up Southern European Innovation Hub in Porto

Dutch engineering firm ACE Development & Engineering has officially started its operations in Southern Europe by opening a new office in Porto, Portugal, located at UPTEC. UPTEC is a well-known place where startups, research centers, and tech companies come together. This move is a big part of ACE's plan to grow, and it helps the company use Portugal's skilled engineers and strong academic background.

ACE has been in the industry for almost 50 years, and its goal is to connect academic research with real-world innovation.

The team in Porto includes experienced engineers coming back from the Netherlands as well as local experts, which helps keep the technical skills high and ensures knowledge is shared effectively.

From its new location, ACE Portugal will provide services in mechanical and mechatronic co-development, industrial automation, and product development, especially for high-tech and manufacturing businesses.

The company is already working with local groups like AED and Mobinov, as well as with institutions in areas from Braga to Lisbon. For ACE, Porto is not just a place to operate—it's a long-term partner in innovation.
