Starting in January 2025, Critical Software will offer paid sabbaticals for employees with at least ten years of service, aiming to support personal and professional growth.
The program includes two options:
1. Personal Development: Employees can take one month of paid leave for personal growth (e.g., travel, volunteering, learning) and an additional three months of unpaid leave.
2. Professional Development: Employees seeking professional advancement (e.g., intensive training, internships, teaching) can take up to three months of paid leave, with the option of an additional three months unpaid.
Around 150 employees are initially eligible, with the number expected to rise to 200 by the end of the year. The company has allocated €100,000 for this program in 2025, highlighting its commitment to employee well-being and retention in a competitive job market.
