Concentrix, a North American multinational specializing in customer experience and technological solutions, is celebrating seven years of operations in Braga, where it now employs 1,400 professionals. The Braga hub has become one of the company’s largest in Portugal and a key success story in foreign investment and job creation.
Operating in 12 languages and across five industry sectors, the Braga center is praised for its high employee satisfaction (9 out of 10), a 96% success rate in hiring, and stable leadership averaging over five years of seniority. Despite a recent wave of layoffs denounced by unions in February, the company remains one of the largest employers in the municipality.
As part of Braga Economy Weeks, the operation welcomed local leaders, including Mayor Ricardo Rio and InvestBraga executives, for a site visit. Concentrix's Northern Region Director, Benoist Voidie, highlighted that he oversees 3,000 employees generating €100 million in turnover.
Founded in the U.S. in 1991 and recently merged with French firm Webhelp in a $4 billion deal, Concentrix now serves more than 2,000 clients worldwide, with expanding offerings in generative AI and digital services.
Recognized as a top employer in Portugal by the Great Place to Work Institute for three consecutive years, Concentrix exemplifies Braga’s rise as a strategic destination for international, multilingual, and tech-oriented investment.
