Code for All_ Receives €4 Million from EIF to Support Digital Reskilling

Code for All_, a leading Portuguese programming school, has secured €4 million in funding from the European Investment Fund (EIF) to promote digital skills development. This funding is part of a €10.2 million “limited guarantee” initiative aimed at addressing digital and management skills shortages in Portugal, Spain, and Germany.

The program will benefit over 6,500 students by offering deferred tuition and income-sharing agreements. As a result, students can access courses with reduced financial barriers, allowing them to pay based on their ability, with options to spread payments over up to four years.

Code for All_ is the only 100% Portuguese institution selected for this initiative, which includes prestigious schools like IESE and Esade. CEO João Magalhães highlights that financial constraints have been a major barrier for potential students, and this funding will transform access to training, reinforcing the school’s commitment to educational excellence and social impact.
