Code For All, a social impact tech startup founded in 2015 and home to the 'Code Academy,' is expanding to a new office. The company has chosen LEAP Docas, a location offering 2,825 m²of space, with the help of Worx Real Estate Consultants.
Code For All required a large, well-located, and trendy space, ideally a stand-alone building to accommodate its team and the students attending its in-person bootcamps. LEAP Docas met all these needs, with the added appeal of being near the river, making it the ideal choice for the growing startup.
“We have very specific goals for 2023 regarding our growth and development, and the new space is a key part of our expansion strategy. We wanted to consolidate all our activities in one place to foster synergies and strengthen our community,” said João Magalhães, co-founder of Code For All.
José Luís Pinto Basto, CEO of The Edge Group, emphasized the building’s innovative and accessible design, ideal for companies seeking a dynamic and strategic location in Lisbon. He noted that contributing to Code For All’s expansion is one of their key successes for 2023.
Jorge Telles de Carvalho, consultant at Worx Real Estate Consultants, facilitated the process, noting the unique opportunity the LEAP Docas space provided for Code For All’s needs.
The company, which has already transformed the lives of 1,674 people and boasts a 98% employability rate within three months of bootcamp graduation, will soon begin adapting the new space to fit its requirements.
Code Academy, part of Code For All, trains students in Full-Stack Software Development in just 14 weeks, preparing graduates for successful careers in tech.
