Cegid has launched Cegid Pulse, a suite of generative AI agents integrated into its management solutions, developed at its Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence in Portugal. This center, with hubs in Braga and Lisbon, represents a €4 million investment and focuses on developing AI-driven business management tools for global export.

Cegid Pulse leverages vast company data to support users by automating tasks, simplifying processes, providing real-time insights, and detecting issues such as payroll and accounting errors. These AI agents not only increase employee efficiency but also enhance company competitiveness.
Pedro Vale, Cegid's VP of Engineering for AI and Data, highlights that the differentiator is the orchestration of multiple specialized agents to address complex user requests across different tasks and business areas.
Growth and Talent Development
Currently, the Center of Excellence employs nearly 100 AI experts, with plans to expand to 150 by 2025. The initiative not only reinforces Cegid’s leadership in AI innovation but also aims to retain and develop national talent, solidifying Portugal’s role as a tech hub for next-gen AI solutions.

Pedro Vale envisions further exploration into hyper-automation and AI agents that adapt to user workflows. Cegid’s focus remains on simplifying interactions with management software, allowing users to work more intuitively alongside AI-driven systems.
