This center, with hubs in Braga and Lisbon, represents a €4 million investment and focuses on developing AI-driven business management tools for global export.

Pedro Vale, Cegid's VP of Engineering for AI and Data, highlights that the differentiator is the orchestration of multiple specialized agents to address complex user requests across different tasks and business areas.
Growth and Talent Development
Currently, the Center of Excellence employs nearly 100 AI experts, with plans to expand to 150 by 2025. The initiative not only reinforces Cegid’s leadership in AI innovation but also aims to retain and develop national talent, solidifying Portugal’s role as a tech hub for next-gen AI solutions.
