Cypriot tech firm BrainRocket is betting big on Portugal. Less than a year after entering the market, the company has tripled the size of its office in Lagoas Park, Oeiras, now occupying over 2,800 m². The reason? Rapid growth and plans to hire 150 more people in the coming months.
Initially opening in September with 750 m², BrainRocket calls Oeiras the “Portuguese Silicon Valley” — and for good reason. “We’re growing fast, attracting top talent, and creating space for bold ideas,” said Georgy Makarov, Business Development Manager.
With headquarters in Limassol (Cyprus) and an additional office in Malta, BrainRocket employs over 1,000 people. The new Oeiras expansion is part of a broader strategy to scale its software development capabilities in Europe.
The move also highlights the rising appeal of Lagoas Park — home to companies like Samsung, Oracle, Cisco, and BMW — which is undergoing a €25 million modernization. BrainRocket’s expansion is seen as a strong endorsement of the region’s growing role as a tech and innovation hub.
