The Portuguese tech company now exports 99% of its production to five countries—Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, France, and Italy—reinforcing its status as a key player in the logistics and retail sector.
Co-founded by Slovenian entrepreneur Miha Jagodic and Portuguese visionaries Ricardo Carvalho and João Lopes, Bloq.it was born out of a mission to revolutionize logistics and enhance customer experiences. Its proprietary software, Bloq.OS, powers a network of 6,000 smart lockers, facilitating over 23 million transactions—an astonishing 768% increase from 2023. This rapid growth has earned Bloq.it recognition in the Deloitte Fast 50 and ScaleUp Portugal Report 2024, ranking it among the country's top 25 most profitable and innovative startups.
Further cementing its influence, Bloq.it was also named one of Portugal’s most impactful tech companies in Exame Informática’s “Largest Technology Companies” ranking. Based on economic performance data from Iberinform, this recognition places Bloq.it among the top 200 technology firms driving industry transformation both nationally and internationally.

Looking ahead, Bloq.it is set to expand its groundbreaking NEXT Locker—a modular, self-sufficient solution that slashes installation costs by 88% by eliminating the need for electrical infrastructure. The company will launch a pilot project next month in Italy and Spain in collaboration with major logistics operators, including GLS.
