Blip Technology is recruiting and aims to reach 1,300 employees by the end of the year

Blip, the Porto-based tech company, has hit 1,000 employees and is now looking to expand further, with a goal of reaching 1,300 by the end of the year. The company is hiring across multiple levels, focusing on senior profiles but also offering opportunities for recent graduates and career changers through its paid internship program.

The seventh edition of Blip’s BETa internship program starts in April, offering nine-month paid internships with around 50 spots available. The goal is to integrate interns into full-time positions after completion.

To attract talent, Blip emphasizes flexible work models, allowing employees to choose between remote, hybrid, or in-office work, with only one required visit per quarter to Porto. This flexibility has enabled Blip to hire professionals from across Portugal, including the Algarve, Madeira, and Lisbon.

Additionally, the company offers strong parental benefits, including up to three extra months of paid leave and financial supplements for the first three years of a child’s life.

Founded in 2009, Blip became part of Flutter Entertainment in 2019, following its acquisition by Betfair in 2012.
