Blip, the technology arm of the Flutter Group and one of the world's largest online sports betting and iGaming operators, has already exceeded its hiring target for 2025. Entering the year with 974 employees in Porto, the company has now grown its team to 1,323 professionals and plans to hire an additional 250 engineers by year-end, aiming to reach 1,500 employees in 2026.
Founded in 2009 in Porto, Blip was acquired by Betfair in 2012, later becoming part of Flutter Entertainment, which has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since January 2004 and reported revenues exceeding $14 billion (€3.6 billion) in the last fiscal year.
This growth underscores Blip’s ongoing commitment to expanding its engineering and technology capabilities, reinforcing its position as a key player in global online betting and iGaming operations.
