Accenture Acquires UK-Based AI Consultancy Decho to Strengthen Palantir and Gen AI Capabilities

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has acquired Decho, a UK-based AI consultancy specializing in Palantir solutions, to bolster its capabilities in generative AI and data technologies. The acquisition aims to improve Accenture's ability to provide advanced AI and data-driven solutions across healthcare, public services, defense, and commercial sectors in the UK and internationally.

Decho, which was established as a strategic partner of Palantir, focuses on assisting organizations in moving AI initiatives from concept to execution, with expertise in data modeling, platform deployment, and capability development.

The company’s team of over 40 engineers will now be part of Accenture’s Data and AI division in the UK.

Bryan Rich, global lead for Accenture’s Health and Public Service Data and AI division, stated that the acquisition will help clients achieve “data and AI advantage to meet critical objectives with more transparency and resilience.”

Anna Davies, co-founder of Decho, noted that the partnership will expedite the integration of generative AI into enterprise operations.

The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
