Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend components using C# and .NET Framework

- Build and extend RESTful APIs for core services and system integrations

- Lead and participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers when needed

- Conduct unit and integration testing, diagnose issues, and ensure performance

- Work closely with analysts and product teams to understand business needs

- Operate within Agile/Scrum methodologies, participating in sprints and planning sessions

- Contribute to refactoring and improving existing systems for better maintainability and scalability

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

- 3+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET Framework

- Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs

- Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably SQL Server or Oracle

- Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and clean architecture

- Hands-on experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks

- Proficient with Visual Studio, source control systems, and deployment practices

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to quality

- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory for daily communication and documentation

Nice to have/ Pluses:

- Exposure to .NET Core / .NET 6+ and migration projects

- Experience with containerization (Docker) or CI/CD pipelines

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)

- Knowledge or experience in the financial services industry
