What is this challenge about:
- Designing and building agentic applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) with a strong focus on real-world impact.
- Implementing RAG pipelines, including chunking strategies, hybrid search, vector databases, and prompt optimisation.
- Developing and deploying LLM-based microservices within cloud-native architectures (AWS or Azure).
- Writing clean, scalable, and well-tested Python code, ensuring high reliability and maintainability.
- Building and validating automation workflows using tools such as Make or n8n, integrated with AI-driven systems.
- Defining, validating, and monitoring metrics for AI agents, ensuring efficiency, robustness, and avoidance of unnecessary resource usage.
- Testing, evaluating, and hardening AI agents to guarantee performance, stability, and observability in production.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments and contributing to technical discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Staying up to date with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in Generative AI and LLM ecosystems.

What we are looking for
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software / Python Engineer;
- Strong, hands-on Python expertise (mandatory);
- Experience with automation tools such as Make or n8n (Mandatory)
- Proven experience delivering Generative AI solutions in production (minimum 6 months);
- Practical knowledge of LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar;
- Solid experience implementing RAG architectures, vector stores, and hybrid search;
- Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and containerised applications (Docker, Kubernetes);
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure);
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) and Git-based workflows;
- Strong understanding of AI metrics, monitoring, validation, and observability;
- Ability to test and validate AI agents for robustness, efficiency, and cost-awareness;
- Fluent level of English & Portuguese (mandatory);
- Availability to work in a hybrid model, 2x per week in Lisbon.
