InnoWave is looking for a dynamic, agile person, good communication skills to complete our team. You will develop, test, and maintain software applications and components under the guidance of senior engineers as a Junior Backend Developer based in Lisbon.

O que vais fazer

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications and components under the guidance of senior engineers
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code, following established development standards and best practices
• Contribute to the implementation of new features and enhancements based on technical specifications and business requirements
• Support the integration of software components, APIs, and external systems
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects
• Develop and execute unit tests and support integration testing activities
• Work with databases and implement basic data access and manipulation operations
• Use version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions to continuously improve software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Follow software development lifecycle practices, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance

O que é pedido

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
• Up to 3 years of experience in Software Engineering
• Good knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: .NET, Java, or Python
• Understanding of fundamental programming concepts, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming
• Basic knowledge of software design principles and development best practices
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of debugging, testing, and software troubleshooting techniques
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to different technical environments
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory)
