Sr. Python Developer (Flask) (Remote From Portugal)

We are looking for Sr. Python Developer (Flask) to join an international project, working remotely from Portugal.

What you will be doing:

- Proven experience building microservices using Python.

- Strong knowledge of Python and Flask as the main backend stack.

- Experience in API design and documentation, using tools such as Swagger / OpenAPI.

- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Practical experience working with AWS services.

- Ability to work with complex data structures and implement KPI-driven business logic.

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.

Technical foundations

- Practical knowledge of software architecture patterns and SOLID principles.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.

- Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and event-driven architectures.

Mindset & ways of working

- Strong focus on software security, reliability, and maintainability.

- Hands-on experience across the entire software development lifecycle.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

- A mindset of continuous learning and openness to new ideas and technologies.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Education

- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Regime: 100% remote from Portugal (the candidate can work remotely from any Portuguese region)
