We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Linux System Admin. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for administering Linux servers across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in Linux system administration in enterprise environments.
• +2 years of hands-on experience managing Linux servers (SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS, Oracle Linux) and Solaris.
• Advanced knowledge of patch management solutions such as Red Hat Satellite, SUSE Manager, and Oracle Smart Management Hub (OSMH).
• Experience in virtualized environments using VMware technologies (ESXi, SRM, NSX, vRealize) and Oracle VM.
• Strong understanding of storage management and logical volume management (LVM).
• Proficient in scripting for automation and system management in Linux environments.
• Relevant certifications in Linux, virtualization, or systems management.
• Fluent in Portuguese; advanced technical English.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy complex Linux-based solutions in large enterprise environments.
• Administer Linux servers across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.
• Optimize and automate operational processes using various tools and scripting languages.
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive optimization measures.
• Manage patching processes and ensure correct, automated patch application.
• Implement and maintain security policies, update mechanisms, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Document technical procedures and produce regular health and capacity reports.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with hybrid and cloud infrastructure integration.
• Experience with high-availability setups and clustering in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
• Exposure to DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Intermediate to advanced Spanish.
