Job Summary

Accenture is seeking a skilled SAP BTP Consultant to join our data and analytics team and work from our offices located in Lisbon, Braga and Coimbra.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes to identify automation and integration opportunities within SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Design, develop, and deploy workflows using SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA) to streamline end-to-end business processes.
  • Configure Process Visibility scenarios to monitor workflows and provide real-time transparency of process performance.
  • Create forms, decision logic, and business rules using decision tables to manage approvals and process conditions.
  • Integrate SBPA with Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, and CAP (Cloud Application Programming) for seamless automation.
  • Develop alerts, notifications, and reports to ensure timely responses to process exceptions or delays.
  • Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain proper documentation, version control, and compliance with best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in SAP BTP workflow development, Process Automation, or Workflow Management.
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP Build Process Automation (SBPA), including workflows, forms, decision logic, and process visibility dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns using SAP Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, and CAP services.
  • Familiarity with Git-based version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Knowledge of OData services and CAP-based development.
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh.
  • Exposure to Process Insights or Process Intelligence for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SAP UI5 or Fiori applications for process visualization.
