Back-end Developer (Laravel)

We’re looking for a Back-end Developer based in Portugal. Although our day-to-day communication is in Portuguese, this job post is in English because a solid understanding of English is essential – from documentation to collaboration with external teams.

What you'll do:

// Write clean, modular, flawless and scalable code

// Build new features from a given set of specs

// Take responsibility, autonomy and ownership of your work

// Run 1-1 meetings with your team members

// Support the code reviewing process, ensuring high-quality code is produced

What we're looking for:

// Degree in IT Engineering (or related)

// Proven professional experience in web development

// Attentive to details, delivering quality code which is maintainable, efficient and reliable

// Familiar with version-control and automated testing tools

Tech requirements:

* Expertise in MVC frameworks and building REST APIs

* Familiarity with PHP, particularly Laravel

* Experience with version control workflows and tools (preferably Git)

* DevOps/infrastructure expertise is not mandatory but a huge plus

* E-commerce experience is a plus

* Laravel and Vue.js

* Automated provisioning tools (Docker)

* Figma

* Slack for communication
