Cloudflare Platform Engineer

TARBASE is hiring a Cloudflare Platform Engineer to join the team.

We are a young, professional and passionate team with projects deployed all around the world.

Requirements:

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, another science or equivalent experience

- Strong knowledge of Cloudflare services across multiple categories:

- Application security: Web Application Firewall, L7 DDoS protection, API security, Bot management

- Application performance: CDN, DNS, Smart routing, Load balancing

- Networking and SASE: L3/4 DDoS protection, Firewall-as-a-service, Network Interconnect, NaaS/SD-WAN

- Workspace security: Zero Trust Network Access, Secure Web Gateway, Cloud Access Security Broker

- Experience with Cloudflare Workers and serverless edge computing

- Understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols

- Ability to code and build scripts (Python, Bash)

- Experience with API integration and automation

Soft skills:

- Proactivity

- Good communication skills

- Team player

Nice to have:

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and SASE architectures

- Understanding of DDoS mitigation strategies and WAF rule creation

- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Cloudflare Analytics)

- Knowledge of containerized environments and edge computing patterns
