We’re currently hiring for a senior-level role in software development, focused on building robust, high-performance applications using C++ and Qt/QML, in a technical environment that values precision, performance, and ownership.
What is the challenge about:
You’ll be working on the end-to-end development of embedded or embedded-like applications, from early-stage design to deployment and optimization. You’ll join a team that values clean architecture, modern standards, and technical autonomy — and you'll have real influence on the product's performance and direction.
What we are looking for:
- Academic background in Engineering or a related field (e.g., Software, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics);
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development;
- Strong proficiency in C++ and deep understanding of modern C++ standards (C++11 and beyond);
- Solid experience with Qt/QML, particularly in the context of embedded application development;
- Experience across the entire software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, integration, and training;
- Knowledge of C and Rust is highly valued;
- Experience with embedded systems is a strong plus;
- Familiarity with performance analysis and memory profiling tools;
- Ability to take full ownership of complex systems — from architecture and prototyping to performance tuning;
- Strong skills in defining and communicating technical vision, capable of guiding both peers and stakeholders;
- A proactive, curious mindset, and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge;
- Good command of spoken and written English.

Work Location & Flexibility:
This is a hybrid role based in Portugal, with possible work locations in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, or Viseu. Candidates must be based in Portugal and have valid work authorization.
