We are looking for a Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin) to work in Lisbon (1x at the office) who's eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about
- Design, build, and maintain server-side applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and
- reliability;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improvements;
- Drive best practices in code quality, security, and testing across the development lifecycle;
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems proactively and effectively;
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously drive innovation within the
- team.

What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience with Kotlin and Java, and experience with Micro services, Kubernetes and AWS;
- Proficient in Kotlin for backend development;
- Solid hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Ktor frameworks for building robust, scalable services;
- Solid hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases, including optimization and schema design;
- Familiarity with REST API design principles, microservices architectures, and cloud-based services (preferably AWS);
- Comfortable working within an Agile development environment, embracing incremental delivery and continuous feedback;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
