We are looking for a AWS Database Administrator, to work hybrid in Porto, who’s eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about:
- Support and maintain mission-critical database environments hosted on AWS, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability across multiple platforms.
- Manage installation, configuration, performance tuning, query optimization, and workload management for RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redshift databases.
- Collaborate in international projects, proactively improving database operations, monitoring, and automation while contributing to future technology decisions.

What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting AWS database technologies.
- Expertise in AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redshift.
- Solid knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and workload management.
- Experience with S3, IAM, Lambda, or CloudWatch is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills — both technical and business-oriented.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Willingness to share knowledge, participate in on-call rotations, and work in shift-based coverage (10h, 5 days/week).
- Fluent level of English (mandatory);
- Availability to work in a hybrid model, 3x per week in Porto.
