Job Role:

We’re looking for a Senior backend-focused Software Developer who’s passionate about building scalable, reliable systems that power our IoT platform. You’ll work on core services that connect thousands of devices, process data in real time, and help deliver smarter workplace experiences worldwide.

You’ll work mainly with .NET and/or Node.js (TypeScript), designing APIs, building distributed services, and ensuring performance, security, and resilience at scale. You’ll collaborate with DevOps and product teams to design solutions that run smoothly in production and evolve with our platform.

What you will do:

- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using either .NET (C#) or JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js).

- Design scalable, maintainable, and testable solutions that support real business needs.

- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.

- Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.

- Help shape our architecture and technical direction—your voice matters here.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems for performance and reliability.

- Stay up to date with new tech and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team.

Who you’ll work with:

You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional team of software engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders. You’ll work closely with colleagues who value open communication, practical solutions, and continuous learning. Expect to interact with both technical and non-technical team members, and to have your ideas heard and respected.

What makes you fit:

- 5+ years of experience designing and building backend systems using .NET (C#) or Node.js with TypeScript.

- Deep understanding of API architecture, distributed systems, and modern backend patterns such as microservices and event-driven design.

- Proven experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and optimizing data flows at scale.

- Strong background in cloud-native development (preferably Azure or AWS) and experience with CI/CD automation and observability.

- Skilled in writing reliable, testable code and implementing robust automated testing practices.

- Comfortable leading technical discussions, performing code reviews, and influencing architecture decisions.

- Pragmatic problem-solver who values scalability, maintainability, and long-term impact over quick fixes.

- Excellent communicator who can bridge technical and business perspectives effectively.

- Advanced English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Driven by outcomes and accountability, with a strong sense of ownership over the systems you build.

- Collaborative and solution-focused, able to guide discussions and align teams around technical decisions.

- Detail-oriented and quality-driven, balancing speed with long-term maintainability.

- Adaptable and composed under pressure, comfortable leading through change and uncertainty.
