Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist for a long-term role in this project in Lisbon (hybrid).

Required Skills:

- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field;

- 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or similar role;

- Proven knowledge and experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and curation of text datasets;

- Previous experience in programming for real-world data analysis applications;

- Experience in NLP tasks like Text Classification, NER, and Information Retrieval;

- Experience working with LLMs, OpenAI API (or equivalent), and RAG;

- Proficiency in Python and ML/DL packages (PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas);

- Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Cafe;

- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, R, and C++;

- Knowledge of cloud tools like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud;

- Experience in MLOps practices.
