Data Engineer (w/ PowerBI and PowerPlatform)

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Data Engineer (w/ PowerBI and PowerPlatform) to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Must have:

-Minimum of 5 years working with Business Intelligence and Data systems;

-Minimum of 2 years working with Power BI at Professional Level;

-Between 6 and 9 years of experience as a Data Engineer;

-Proven experience implementing large scale BI solutions;

-Experience with Big Data and NoSQL Technology (Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, Spark, Nifi, Python);

-Experience implementing best practices within a Data Lake;

-Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps);

-Solid knowledge of DAX and Power Query;

-Solid knowledge of Python and Pyspark;

-Solid knowledge on Data Modeling principles and working with databases;

-Excellent communication skills;

-Excellent problem-solving skills;

-Good level of English (B2+);

-Fluency in Portuguese (C1+).

Nice to have:

-Experience with C#, or Java;

-Experience with Scala;

-Experience with PowerShell scripting, Rest API;

-Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive);

-Experience with CI/CD tools (XL Release, XL Deploy, Jenkins);

-PL-300 Certification.
