Wipro Acquires HARMAN’s Digital Transformation Solutions to Boost AI-Driven Engineering

Wipro has announced that it is buying HARMAN’s Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) unit. This move brings more than 5,600 engineers from the Americas, Europe, and Asia into Wipro. The deal is expected to be completed by December 2025. It will help Wipro grow its abilities in AI-based engineering and research and development across different areas like industry, aerospace, healthcare, consumer goods, and technology.

DTS has strong skills in digital engineering, connected products, and AI-focused platforms.

These will work well with Wipro’s global reach and its approach to consulting services. This should help clients get faster innovation and full transformation solutions. Wipro’s CEO, Srini Pallia, says this is a “key step” in connecting the virtual and physical worlds and in building stronger global engineering and research services.

The deal also includes a long-term partnership with HARMAN and Samsung, which will increase chances for future collaboration and new ideas.
